Academy Policies

My aim is to make your learning experience enjoyable, supportive and inspiring from beginning to end. These policies simply provide the practical framework that allows us to do that together. These policies explain how the Academy works, what you can expect from me and what I ask from my students in return. They're here to make sure everything runs smoothly, so we can focus on what really matters - your learning.

Student Agreement

When you enrol on a Spirit Crystal Academy course, the Student Agreement sets out the full terms that apply to your course, including payment, cancellation, course access, completion requirements and our responsibilities to one another.Please read the Student Agreement before enrolling.Read the Student Agreement

Enrolment

Your place on a course is confirmed once payment, or the first payment of an agreed payment plan, has been received.You'll then receive a welcome email with everything you need to get started, including details of your course, how to book your first one-to-one session and how to access your course materials.

Payments

Courses can be paid for in full or by an approved payment plan where available.Payment plans are a commitment to pay the full course fee and are not subscriptions that can be cancelled part-way through.If you experience unexpected financial difficulties, please contact me as soon as possible and I'll always do my best to help where I can.

Cancellations & Refunds

When you enrol online, you will normally have a 14-day cancellation period beginning from the date your contract with Spirit Crystal Academy is made.If you change your mind during this period, please contact me in writing as soon as possible.If you ask to begin your course during the 14-day cancellation period, you will be asked to complete an Early Start Request before teaching begins. Depending on the services and digital materials already provided before cancellation, you may be responsible for an appropriate amount relating to what has already been supplied.Once the applicable cancellation period has passed, course fees are normally non-refundable and payment plans remain a commitment to pay the full agreed course fee, except where your statutory rights apply or Spirit Crystal Academy is unable to provide the agreed service.Nothing in these policies affects your statutory consumer rights.

Booking and Rescheduling Sessions

Your one-to-one sessions are arranged at times that suit us both.If you need to rearrange a session, please give as much notice as possible.Life happens, and I completely understand that unexpected things can arise. Whenever possible, I'll happily rearrange your session.Repeated missed appointments or cancellations without notice may result in the loss of that session.

Course Access

You'll receive lifetime access to your course materials, allowing you to revisit them whenever you wish.This access is provided for your personal learning and may not be shared with anyone else.

Course Completion

Each course has its own usual learning timeframe, but all Spirit Crystal Academy courses should normally be completed within 12 months of enrolment unless a different arrangement has been agreed with me in writing.I understand that circumstances can change, so if something affects your ability to continue your course, please get in touch as soon as possible. Where appropriate, we can discuss a reasonable adjustment to your schedule or completion arrangements.Any required coursework, case studies or assessments must still be completed satisfactorily before the relevant certificate can be issued.

Certificates

Where applicable, certificates are issued once all course requirements have been successfully completed.This may include completion of coursework, case studies, practical assessments or any other requirements outlined within your course.

Intellectual Property

All course materials, manuals, worksheets, videos, downloads and resources remain the intellectual property of Spirit Crystal Academy.They are provided for your personal use only and may not be copied, reproduced, shared, distributed, taught, sold or published without written permission.

Respectful Learning

Spirit Crystal Academy is built on kindness, curiosity and mutual respect.I ask that all communication remains respectful and supportive so that everyone enjoys a positive learning experience.

Concerns, Complaints & Assessment Reviews

If you have a concern about your course or learning experience, please contact me and I will always try to resolve it fairly and informally where possible.Spirit Crystal Academy also has a formal procedure for complaints and, where applicable, requests to review an assessment decision.Read the Student Complaints & Assessment Review Procedure
